2024 will be a TSK year to remember, we’ve seen some major achievements from January to December. With a switch to employee ownership and some incredible charity achievements, we’ve won awards for office designs and shared our Net Zero agreement.
As the year draws in, we want to celebrate these wins. Our team has worked incredibly hard, and so in this video, we share the facts figures and stories, of our year (so far).
Let's dive deeper into these yearly highlights, to hear more from the team and our work with leading organisations across the country.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed 19 talented, experienced and hard-working individuals who have brought fresh energy, expertise and ideas our team!
Our London community has also gone from strength to strength. The team has grown by 900% in the last year alone, and we’ve had to take even more space in Moor Place to accommodate them.
And as the team grows, so does the power they hold, as TSK is now employee-owned!
As of August 1st, the ownership of TSK has now been transferred to our employees through the creation of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This trust has been set up to benefit all our employees, ensuring that they share in TSK’s future successes.
“It’s been fantastic to see the team grow exponentially over the past 12 months. The transition to employee ownership marks a significant milestone in our TSK journey, and I look forward to seeing how this strengthens our team in the years to come.”
Iain Holden, TSK CEO
We’ve channelled the power of our people for good this year in a mission to raise £25,000 for the British Heart Foundation in honour of our treasured friend and colleague, David Cox, who passed away sadly back in 2019.
Over 130 team members, friends, family, suppliers, and partners took part in various events this year, including a 24-hour spinathon, a five-a-side football tournament, the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride, and our TSK London to Manchester triathlon.
We have ran, cycled and swam a total of 3,440 miles and raised £40,416.02 for charity!
We couldn’t have done this without the support of our amazing community, so a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us in this mission.
2024 has been a transformative year in our sustainability mission. With the help of our Sustainability Director, Jamie Richardson, we’ve made some major gains over the past 12 months, including:
We’ve also been working hard to help our partners achieve greener goals, earning eight sustainability accreditations, including four SKA Gold Awards on projects across the UK.
“Sustainability has fundamentally shifted from a tick box exercise to becoming a top priority for our clients with a new focus on maximising impact on value, the environment and communities. We have also moved from commitments into a new era of delivery and action, demonstrated through the delivery of new workspaces for clients which have achieved top sustainability accreditations”.
Jamie Richardson, TSK Sustainability Director
We were delighted to receive nine award nominations in the SBID, Mix, Mix North, FX Design Awards, London Design Awards, Northern Design Awards and Coventry Building Society Supplier Awards.
We struck gold at two of these ceremonies, taking home the trophy in 'Interior Design - Office' category at the London Design Awards and Workplace Fit Out Project of the Year at the Society of British & International Interior Design awards, both for our incredible project with Oliver Wyman.
This year, we've partnered with leading brands to achieve extraordinary outcomes for their people, workplace, and planet.
By linking strategy, design and fulfilment, our teams have covered plenty of ground. We have successfully completed numerous projects in Leeds, Manchester, and London, and worked on initiatives from Farnborough to Glasgow and from Dublin to Ipswich. Our efforts have kept us extremely busy across the UK and beyond!
Our events programme continued to receive rave reviews! We recently invited workplace professionals to join us in Leeds and London for a morning of learning and connection.
We welcomed speaker Dr. Elizabeth Nelson, alongside project teams from Dr. Oetker, SPD (ClearBlue), Siemens and the Medical Protection Society to share key insights in leading a successful workplace transformation.
Our strategy, consultancy and sustainability specialists also shared their experience, tools and tips for ensuring successful outcomes.
As we look ahead to 2025, we're excited to share more about the fantastic projects we're currently on-site to complete and those where works are set to commence in the new year. Make sure you are following us on LinkedIn to stay up to date with the latest!
