We’re delighted to announce the next exciting chapter in our TSK journey. As of August 1st, TSK is now officially employee-owned!

Over the past year, we’ve achieved big things. We’ve completed more projects than any year before, partnering with some of the world’s leading brands to transform their workplaces across the UK. This year too, we’re continuing to grow, our team now stands at 100 employees strong, with 20 new colleagues joining us in the past six months alone.

The ownership of TSK has now been transferred to those employees through the creation of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This trust has been set up to benefit all our employees, ensuring that they share in TSK’s future success.

It is a fantastic feeling to genuinely believe that our best years are in front of us as we approach our 29th anniversary. We have built an exceptional team of talented people at TSK who are as excited as we are for the future.
The transfer to Employee Ownership is a great way to get them directly involved in taking the business to the next level and sharing directly in our success. It also provides the platform for seamless succession over time.”

Iain Holden - CEO

What exactly is an EOT?

An EOT is a way for a business to be held for the benefit of all its employees. This is achieved through the shares in the business being owned by a trust. The trust then acts as the majority shareholder with the purpose of promoting the interests of the employees and working to see that they share in the success of the business.

We have also taken this opportunity to establish an EOT board to protect the interests of our employees, which will be chaired by independent trustee John Shinnick, two employee representatives and members of our leadership team.

While our existing leadership team will remain in place and continue to lead the business, this change will provide us with a platform for our workplace vision and allow for greater employee involvement and sharing in future success.

I am delighted to have been asked to take on TSK’s Independent Trustee and Trust Chair roles.  I have worked in professional services in the city for 37 years and have experienced TSK’s high-quality office fit-outs across many organisations.
I was involved in bringing the TSK EOT to fruition and know that the same level of care has been consistently present in their work across this city and others over the past three decades. Now, TSK is creating an environment for their people to grow, develop, and drive the business forward for decades to come.”
