NERA’s London office was conceived not simply as a physical fit out but as a platform for connection. From the outset, our collaboration centred on understanding how their people work, communicate and come together as a community.

The resulting workplace balances open collaborative areas with quieter, more focused spaces. Social settings were given equal priority, reinforcing NERA’s emphasis on culture and collaboration. By embedding flexibility, the office enables teams to adapt seamlessly as ways of working evolve.
This approach reflects our core belief that workplace transformation must have a tangible human impact. In this case, that meant creating an environment where employees feel valued, connected, and supported to do their best work.

The success of this project rests on genuine partnership. We worked closely with NERA’s leadership and employees to ensure the office design resonated with their culture. Workshops and engagement sessions allowed us to refine choices based on lived experience, not abstract concepts.
This process delivered more than a workplace. It created shared ownership, where employees could see their input reflected in the final space. That sense of involvement is now embedded in everyday use of the office, and it is one of the reasons the project has been recognised with this award.
Winning the Fit Out Project of the Year is not only an external validation of design excellence, but also recognition of a workplace that is delivering lasting value.
We create environments that align space with strategy and culture and the NERA project embodies this approach and demonstrates its impact in practice.

For NERA, the recognition affirms that their workplace is more than an office – it is a strategic asset. For us, it strengthens our role as a trusted partner to organisations that want workplaces designed around people and business clarity.
