Leading global employee benefits and engagement partner Sodexo Benefits & Rewards Services was adopting a new employee experience brand, Pluxee. We delivered a flexible and agile workplace that reflects their new value proposition.

Entering a new era

Pluxee needed to accommodate the diverse activities of its hybrid workforce. With a lease event on the horizon, it was the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate their space requirements. 

As a forward-thinking organisation, Pluxee wanted to transition from a traditional fixed-desk set-up to a more flexible, collaborative and digitally enhanced workspace. This change aligned with their new brand proposition, which would offer both employees and clients an exceptional workplace experience.

Looking at the evidence

During our strategy and engagement phase, we interviewed key stakeholders within the business and ran utilisation studies to understand how people were operating within their current building. 

Our studies showed that Pluxee could downsize from their original 32,000 sqft of office space to a 9435 sqft alternative, which is less than 30% of their previous workspace!

A magnet for attracting talent

This bold and energetic working environment is the ideal platform for launching the new Pluxee brand – a place designed for people to do what they love.

The space aligns seamlessly with Pluxee’s transition to hybrid working and accommodating diverse needs, from one-to-ones and focused work to breakout areas and social gatherings. 

Every detail in this multi-functional space amplifies a profound sense of togetherness and connection, and serves as a magnet for attracting top talent.

New brand, new building

We helped Pluxee choose a fantastic new building in Milton Keynes. The BREEAM-certified Enigma Building reflects Pluxee’s social and environmental values, with an impressive EPC rating of ‘A’, plenty of natural light and being located in a thriving business park surrounded by green space. The Park hosts year-round events, activities and workshops, fostering a vibrant workplace community.

Designing for adaptability

We applied our experience of delivering a flexible and adaptable workplace for Sodexo in London to our project in Milton Keynes, with the aim of creating a dynamic space that optimises every square foot of the floorplan.  

We incorporated flexible features, such as a folding wall, between two of the meeting rooms to host both private seminars and larger social gatherings. When not in use, the foldable wall can be discreetly concealed in an easy-access storage area.

A hub for connection and collaboration

Pluxee is a tech-focused brand, so it was important to provide the team with the necessary tools for facilitating hybrid meetings. The versatile meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art AV technology so employees can connect with colleagues and clients working in different locations.

The new workspace is thoughtfully designed to promote interaction and collaborative work.  As visitors enter the building, they are greeted by a vibrant, open-plan social space and a refreshment area, where they can grab a coffee to kick-start their day.
