A fresh identity for a new era – inside SilverDoor’s five-star London HQ.

When SilverDoor’s lease ended, it was the perfect opportunity to relocate from a multi-floor office to a bold and open-plan environment that would set the stage for a new era.

In collaboration, we delivered a high-end headquarters at the award-winning Chiswick Park development in London. This inspirational space embodies SilverDoor’s refreshed brand identity and strengthens connections between their employees, clients and partners.

A HQ to support growth and change

SilverDoor, the world’s largest corporate accommodation provider, is renowned for service excellence and putting their people first. With deep roots in Chiswick, the company was determined to remain in the area, moving into a space that reflects their growth and future ambitions.

Their previous office spanned three floors, which made it challenging for teams to collaborate and connect. The move presented an opportunity to bring people together and create a five-star workplace experience that captures SilverDoor’s values.

Aligning the workplace vision

Following the successful delivery of their Lancaster customer service hub in 2021, we partnered once again to bring to life SilverDoor’s vision for a flagship headquarters. Through close collaboration with stakeholders, we ensured the design reflects SilverDoor’s fresh identity and global reputation.

By incorporating similar finishes, colours and textures to their Lancaster office, we created a sense of familiarity and cohesion while introducing settings tailored to Chiswick’s needs.

The workspace includes flexible collaborative hubs and focused individual zones, supporting the tech teams and client-facing roles. It’s designed for hosting events, welcoming clients and partners, and showcasing SilverDoor’s services.

A hospitality-inspired design reflecting excellence

From the moment visitors step through the concierge-style entrance, they’re welcomed into SilverDoor’s world of five-star service. Designed to feel like a high-end boutique hotel, this open and inviting space proudly displays the company’s many awards and accreditations.

The same attention to detail flows throughout the office, seamlessly blending style and functionality and celebrating SilverDoor’s heritage. Signature features such as the bespoke boardroom table and commissioned artwork add a touch of sophistication, making the space as impressive for their employees as it is for their guests.

“I’ve travelled all around the world, seeing offices of our customers and partners, and it really ranks in the top handful of places I’ve seen.”

– Stuart Winstone, CEO of SilverDoor

Spaces for collaboration and connection

The open-plan layout brings everyone together on a single floor, making it easier for teams to connect. The new headquarters offers a mix of work settings, including focus spaces, built-in meeting rooms for individual calls, and large-scale rooms set up for both in-person and virtual meetings. A dedicated media studio adds a creative edge, providing space for filming and podcasts.

At the heart of the space is The Den, a lively social hub with pool tables, dartboards, shuffleboards, and tiered seating for game spectators. A large kitchen with a central island makes it easy to host events and team gatherings, and the dressing rooms give employees a dedicated place to get ready for social occasions.

Designed for both work and play, the space also includes hybrid-enabled meeting rooms with advanced technology and acoustics for seamless collaboration with clients and colleagues worldwide. The office isn’t just a workplace – it’s a hub for creativity, connection and community.

“We have a lot of fun at SilverDoor, and I think there are going to be so many opportunities for us to host events, bring people in, and show everyone what we do.”

– Christine Willis, Head of HR at SilverDoor

Sustainable and future-proof

Sustainability was woven into every decision to reduce SilverDoor’s environmental footprint.

By repurposing materials such as glazing and doors and blending existing furniture with new pieces, we minimised waste and kept costs down. The energy-efficient infrastructure aligns with SilverDoor’s environmental commitment to creating a practical and sustainable workplace.

A bold new chapter for SilverDoor

SilverDoor’s new headquarters is more than just an office – it states their commitment to excellence. This space isn’t just about meeting their needs today, but about inspiring what’s next.

SilverDoor London now has a collaborative environment that really reflects who they are as a global leader. It’s a hub for growth, attracting talent and setting the stage for success.

“I’m an enormous believer in looking after the people who work in the company. I defy anyone to go and find a better facility than the one we’ve just built.”

Marcus Angell, Founder and Chairman of SilverDoor
