UKBA Contract Award

Following a rigorous tender process TSK, in partnership with their primary furniture manufacture Herman Miller, has secured a contract to provide all of the furniture for the UK Border Agency's major consolidation project in Liverpool.

The UKBA has signed for 220,000 sq ft of office space, in Liverpool's largest Grade A-equivalent refurbishment scheme The Capital, which represents Liverpool's largest ever commercial letting. The move will see 6 offices consolidated into 1, and becoming home to over 2,000 employees.

UKBA want the new environment to promote modern work styles, and employees are encouraged to work in a flexible way. TSK and Herman Miller are providing contemporary, robust, sustainable furniture which can support the changing needs of the organisation and support high utilisation of the workplace.

Commenting on the contract, TSK's Commercial Director Andy Burke said, 'This is a significant contract for TSK and Herman Miller and demonstrates the strength of our partnership offering to the Public Sector'.
