TSK wins Whitbread contract

The TSK group has recently begun work on the refurbishment of Whitbread's Dunstable Headquarters. The world class hospitality company wanted to create a corporate HQ that not only provides support to their personnel, but also consists of an interior which reflects the brand integrity of Whitbread.

TSK began the 9 month, 8 phased refurbishment in May, and will undertake a complete refurbishment of Whitbread's current Headquarter building, home to over 750 staff. TSK will carry out the work during client occupancy, ensuring there is minimal disruption to the business and productivity.

The new environment will become a totally agile workspace, with each wing of the building being designed to provide Whitbread's employees with a variety of worksettings, including quiet rooms, meeting rooms, social space, and flexible storage solutions. The dynamic and innovative environment will be supported and managed by a web based space management tool, in order to support the high percentage of field based employees.

Speaking on the contract, Andy Burke, TSK's Commercial Director said "TSK is delighted to be working with such a high profile organisation, which is synonymous with world leading brands, such as Premier Inn and Costa Coffee. The new environment will provide Whitbread's employees with the right tools to do their jobs, which in turn will have a positive impact on their productivity."

Work is due for completion in January 2010.
