Begbies Traynor reap benefits

1st January 2008

One of the finance industry's leading businesses is about to discover how the right working environment can contribute to its increased success and growth.

The Begbies Traynor Group plc, which provides services including corporate finance, recovery, investigation, risk management and tax advice, has just moved into a new headquarters building on Deansgate in Manchester.

Rather than being just an office space, the interior of this new HQ has been specifically designed and delivered by the TSK Group to become an environment which can facilitate Begbie's working practices, its levels of efficiency and its ability to recruit, and retain, the best fee earners.

Building on a track record that has already seen TSK working with such clients as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Baker Tilly, the innovative workplace design and delivery specialist began the project by assessing how the 30,000 sq ft space offered by Begbies' new building could be used most effectively, economically and ergonomically.

From there, TSK went on to create an environment - including a reception area, client hospitality rooms, deal rooms and office space for fee earners - whose design, innovative layout and high-quality finish fully reflects Begbies' leading position in the marketplace. In addition, soft lighting and neutral colours have been used to achieve a comfortable yet contemporary feel.

Commenting on the new environment Andrew Dick, Partner at Begbies Traynor said: "We are delighted with our new work setting. Not only does it shows our staff how important they are to us, but its overall design will encourage the integration of a number of teams who were previously located at separate offices located throughout the North."

Andrew Burns, joint Managing Director at TSK added: "The new workplace environment at Begbies Traynor will undoubtedly be an asset to the company. Not only will it boost the morale and motivation of the team, but it will also increase productivity - which in turn, will ensure the group continues to grow and achieve impressive success."
